Paper Reading Group

About this team

Our group contains of experienced engineers who like to read technical paper and discuss them. We focused on reading practical, industrial paper from well known conferences like Usenix FAST / LISA / NSDI or papers from well known companies like Google, Facebook or Amazon.

How we work

We organize bi-week meeting, each has 2 main presenters who pick up 1 paper and present it (in Vietnamese) to other members (roughly 1 hour per presentation). Other members also need to read the paper before hand in order to have deep and meaningful discussion.

Topic we researching

We do not limit the topics, but until now we mostly focused on below fields:

• Observability

• Streaming technology

• Search engine / Messaging application

• Cloud Computing

• Edge Computing

• Distributed Storage / Database System
